9/11 Memorial Statue

On July 4th 2004 at Highlands Memorial park, there was beautiful lighting on these statues and I just had to capture it. May America never forget what Happened to her that fateful day. Six years later America still remains confused about this tradgedy. All I must say is open your eyes, look at these statues, remember the people that lost their lives to a world full of hatred. Then remember this, Our God is always in control. We must always remember this, even when it seems He is not, He is there.
Celebrate Freedom

Freedom Alliance - The Price of Liberty is Eternal Vigilance
In 1986, I was fortunate enough to view this spectacular unvieling of the newly renovated Statue of Liberty. It was a very beautiful evening as the photo tells the Story. Most recently, I was asked by Freedom Alliance for the use of my "Celebrate Freedom" Image of the Statue for the cover of their annual report. I am Honored to have been selected to assist such a noble cause. God Bless America!
F/V Lucitano New Bedford, Mass. with F/V Tina Point Pleasant, N.J. in tow towards New Bedford

God Bless the crew of the F/V Lucitano, New Bedford, Mass. They were the only vessel to come to our assistance when we were broke down on the F/V Tina in the closed area trip called area one for scallops. They came 5 hrs out of their way to tow us 20 hrs back into New Bedford. Otherwise, we may still be there waiting for someone to tow us in

Sunrises / Sun Dogs and Sunsets

Occasionally, there is a sunrise or two that really catch your eye. This is one that I photographed on 3_30_06. This is one reason why I love the sea and all its beauty.

SunDog

This is a close up of what is termed as a Sun Dog. This happens to be one of my most favorite weather phenomenoms to try and capture on camera. "Sun Dog" is a term coined by ancient mariners to describe this visual weather indicator. Because it can be used as a gauge for wind in the following 24-48 hours, when you see a Sundog as a commercial waterman, you can usually count on some rough weather in the near future; or a day off.
Sun Dog & Sunset

This is a full frame of a Sun Dog within a sunset, so you could see the big picture of a full blown Sun Dog. FYI, this particular Sundog was just prior to Hurricane Katrina
When the Weather Breaks

One of the worst winters in recent years from a commercial fishermans point of view, is the concensus during the month of March 9/'07. Fisherman are having to do much more travelling to maintain an income. The "F/V Ruthy L" is a ground fish vessel from Montauk Point, NY. During this last artic blast of March, they were forced to make a landing here in NJ. Every fisherman that I have spoken to in passing conversation has mentioned that this winter was one of the toughest they could remember
75th Anniversary of Manasquan Inlet

Norma K II
During the Summers end of '06, the surrounding towns of Manaaquan Inlet celebrated her 75th year of service to the surrounding communities and her country. The Manasquan Inlet is the beginning of the inland waterway that leads all the way to Florida's Sebastian Inlet. Point Pleasant is also home of the canal which was created shortly after Manasquan inlet in order to reach Barnegat bay. The canal was built with this purpose in mind, to create a safe passage inland waterway to travel up and down the east coast

Sunset Cloud Structure

This was a cloud structure within a Sunset just prior to Hurricane Katrina. I thought that it was a neat composition and I wanted to share it with my viewers. Fall 2005
